This is the blog for the HPL floating collection. It is meant to expedite the sharing of library materials and information. Please do not post information of a confidential nature. All staff may post, but the manager reserves the right to edit postings.

NOTICE: STARTING 1 JULY 2010, WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS, THE ENTIRE COLLECTION FROM NEIGHBORHOOD LIBRARIES WILL FLOAT BETWEEN NLs. THIS WILL NOT AFFECT THE COLLECTIONS AT CENTRAL, CLAYTON, CMH, GREGORY SCHOOL OR HMRC.

Courtesy Notice

If you do have excess materials, please remember to ask other locations if they would like the extra items. Do not simply box up the items and ship them off to another branch. Please remember to communicate with each other. Also, remember to weed damaged items from your collection rather than floating the damaged materials to another location. Such items will not be magically repaired when they arrive at another branch.
