New Guidelines for Discarding Materials

Below is a copy of the e-mail that Lin Swalley sent to NL Managers, the COMS list and Senior L.A.s:

Hi. New Discard Box Labels have been sent to your units today. Please stop using the old labels immediately and begin using these new labels. The new labels are intended to standardize and smooth the workflow between HPL and the Friends organization. Filling in these labels will make it clear at the Friends’ end, what to expect when they open the boxes. This will speed up their workflow and allow them to accept our boxes from HPL more readily.

The instructions for using the new discard box labels are posted on the left hand side of the blog under "Useful Links."
